So I'm thinking of reactivating this character, but I'm not quiet sure how.

Considering that I left it in the middle of a recruitment to join the Dark Jedi, do just send a PM to the people in the thread and ask if they want to continue, if they're still around? Or do I need to start the whole process all over again? And if I do need to start all over again is that every single step or just the thread?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do as you would like. So long as nothing drastic has changed regarding the characters personality that might require reevaluating, you are good to go. If you want to resume your thread, aim for that(You can also bring new people in to keep going if they aren't around). If you would like to start anew, have at it.
