Hello!
I thought I would share my blog (I don't have anything else to do right now).
I realize most of the Talkcity veterans here are probably people that left Talkcity for the ezboards around the same time as Dara (her divine worshipfulness, Lordess Rhon, as I will always know her), which would be... early 2000?
If that's the case, you will probably get little nostalgic value from this.
If you stayed there longer than that, you might get a little more.
Come May, I'll have been working on this for two years. It's essentially the complete history of the upper echelons of our once glorious, real time, kill-or-be-killed Star Wars sandbox, and it's starting to approach novel length.
I have no idea how long it would take to read it in one sitting, but it would certainly be a commitment.
I'm hoping I'll be finished with it by its two year anniversary, at which point I can go back and fix the beginning which I jumped into with a lot of writing rust, and now find completely unsatisfactory.
We'll see how that deadline goes. There's still quite a bit to tell.
It's for the most part in chronological order. My intention for it when finished is that it stand as a worthy monument to all of the thousands of characters and imaginations that contributed to that very unique, very dangerous role play.
For next time you miss Talkcity, unless you're a hater like Raz.
