Precious Memories [Xavier]
Lina was in her room, and as usual, the door was absently left open. She was stuffing pictures of her and her fiancee into a box .. She was really over him.
Damn I'm good
She grinned to herself at her achievement, and kept on stuffing more and more things into her box, when she noticed one thing she hadn't stuffed in yet ...
Lina blinked as she noticed the ring still stuck stubbornly on her finger. She looked at it .. the pure gold shimmered in the little light of her room. Her eyes sparkled as she remembered how he had proposed to her .. but then darkened as she remembered how things didn't turn out the way she wanted it to.
She then tried desperately to pull it out and stuff it in her box along with the other junk, but it wouldn't come off ..
Ha .. you trained all your life in DK Corp, and you can't even pull out a measly wedding ring ?
Lina grunted as she tried harder and harder to pull it off. Then with another sharp pull, the ring flew off and out the door.
"Oh, great ..." she mumbled, and picked herself up, cursing at her ring .. She then walked out into the hallway, trying to find her ring.

Xavier slowly moves down the hallway, his hands clasped behind his back. He raises an eyebrow slightly and smirks a bit as he sees a ring of gold fly from an open door and a woman run out and come looking for it. The pale Sith Knight walks over to her and looks down at her.
"Greetings..."
One hand comes from behind his back and rests in the air, parallel to the ground. The ring flies up from it's resting spot near Lina's foot and into Xavier's hand. He flips his hand over so the back of his hand is facing the ground now and holds the right between his thumb and forefinger.
"Looking for this?"

Lina heard a male voice from above her, as her glance was turned on the floor. She then saw the golden ring shimmering, and standing out among the rest. She slowly plucked it out of his hand, and smiled.
"Thanks ... Xavier, am I correct ?

Xavier nods with a slight smile and returns his hands to being clasped behind his back.
"Yes, you're right. And you are?"
He slowly pulls his hands out from behind his back and crosses his arms over his chest after pushing some of his long hair from his pale face.

She said plainly and noticed she was still on the floor. She quickly picked herself up, feeling a bit of flush reaching her cheeks. Her gaze quickly dropped to the floor ..
"It's nice to see you back here among these parts ..."
She said it with slight hesitation, but tried not to show it too much. Her gaze slowly carried back up to Xavier .. still a bit wavy.
"I was just trying to get my ring off my finger, and then it kinda flew .. and .. well .. then you came and ... well ... umm, yeah."
For crying out loud .. smile so you make a good impression !
She smiled sheepishly, and coughed a little .. here we go again.

"Nothing at all. Just wandering around a bit. There's nothing else to do at the moment."

She laughed slightly .. and it was true. Lina goes crazy a lot of times .. and those times tend to be too dangerous for even her to handle.

"Don't feel sorry for me. Vega was a very good Master. And he taught me much more than I had expected before he left."
Xavier smiles slowly and raises his right arm slowly, behind his elbow so his hand is out in front of him with his palms up. He grins for a moment then lets out a low growl, many black globules start to appear in the air over his palm. The tiny black orbs begin to spin around quickly before rushing to the middle and colliding with eachother. As the orbs collide they form one baseball sized orb which bursts into flames a few moments after it forms. He grins again as the fireball floats above his palm. He cracks his neck quietly and closes his hand, the orb quickly disappearing.

Lina peered in carefully to the flaming object in Xavier's hand, her eyes sparkling at its wonders. She then watched as it quickly disappeared as soon as Xavier closed up his hand.
"Amazing .. Heh, not bad."
She smiled, quite impressed with that Vega had taught this young Sith Knight.
"You're pretty talented .. I've heard great things about you .. like your love for swords ?" She giggled a little. "Or something along those lines .."

"Aye, I do love swords and sabers."
He slowly pushes the bottom of the right side of his trenchcoat back a bit, revealing the black hued dual saber hilt at his side. He unclips it from his belt and hands it to Lina.
"Made that when I first came here."

"I'm just glad it's over with ... and if I start any other relationships, I just hope it doesn't end up in me getting hurt again .. but then again, that's the risk of it all ... you think you're not gonna get hurt, and then all of a sudden it surprises you .."
She shrugged helplessly and turned her glance aside.

"Not much mystery to my Darkness, Ms. Capulet. My mother died when I was very young. My father has just died and my ancestor who was a Dark Lord of the Sith a long time ago was executed by his own as they tried to take his position from him.

She raised an eyebrow, and grunted. He told his story, she might as well spill hers.
"I don't think I ever had any parents .. didn't really have a family in the first place, heh. But oh well, nobody grows up with a perfect childhood."
She licked her lips, and shrugged faintly, her gaze once again dropped to the floor.
"And then that special someone comes along .. and you think for once you're finally near someone, being apart of a family .."
She trailed a bit, and then her gaze turned back to Xavier's eyes, getting lost in them for a moment or two. She then shook her head and chuckled.
"Sorry, I don't usually tell people these things .."

Lina chuckled and crossed her arms, glancing back up into his eyes. As usual, getting lost in them.
"I'm glad you're not who I thought you were ... heh. You're a lot more .."
Lina tried to find the word to describe him. She wanted to use sweeter but it would've been too advanced.
"... You're just a really great person."
She glanced down suddenly, her eyes widening.
God, that sounded so flirty ...

Lina glanced at his hand for a second ... more flashbacks of pain had filled her mind. She stared absentely at the hand, and then once again lowered her glance ..

Lina shook her head, and brushed aside the memories. She then placed her hand in Xavier's, gripping on it lightly.
"Nah .. I'm ok.."
She smiles slightly and bites her lower lip again, trying to remain a little bit on the calm side.
