She stretched out on the couch with a yawn and looked over at Kali. Her poor sister was still not completely happy. Neither was Sierra. Pop was home, battered when he came home, but at least he was around again. As for her mother, it really didn't surprise her that Nuriko kept to herself and bascially disappeared.
Both of them needed both their parents for different reasons but it boiled down that they loved Rama and Nuri. Being apart from them was heartbreaking.
Kali looked up and Sierra looked at her curiously.
"What is it?"
Then a knock at the door. Sierra got up and opened the door and her eyes were ready to pop out from what she saw on the other side.
"Hi..." Nuriko smiled weakly at her daughters. It was obvious she was somewhat exhausted with the past few days. She held tightly to her husband's hand... perhaps she was getting better.
Kali darted out the room and wrapped around her mother's legs. "Hi, little one..." Nuriko placed a hand in her hair. "I'm sorry I haven't been there for you. I've missed you..."
