Deja Vu with a twist (All Council Members)

He walked into the council room quietly, his hood down, the short brown dreds a bit droopy to either side, his eyes were filled with rage, anger and most of all, pererverance. He got to one knee, and began to speak quietly.

"Council Members of the Empire, I come before you with a request. But first, I mist tell you a story. Not long, but nessecary in order for you to understand. I am 16 years of age. But my life...was all lies. For I am a clone. A clone of a former Knight of this great Empire. His name was Ket Van Derveld. I have all his memories...and none of my own. This was his home, and the only place I could call a home. His training in the Sith arts has now become mine as well. I have all the knowledge and skills equivalent of what you would call a Sith Warrior. I seek to join your ranks, and dedicate my life to the cause of the Empire. For I have no life of my own, and seek to aquire one with the only people I could call "friends". My name is Tek Limelight, and i have come..."

He paused a moment, and looked up to the council members.

:: The Sith Master rose from her council seat and approached the clone of a man she remembered from long ago. As she moved across the ebony marble floor with a quiet grace, she noticed that the resemblence to the original man was striking and his eyes.. they burned with the same intensity that Ket's once did. She recalled Ket's unbridled thirst for battle and a small smile formed on her lips as she wondered if the Limelight tradition would continue onward in his clone. Stopping directly in front of Tek, she looked into his eyes ::

"Greetings Tek Limelight. Your tale of how you came into being is quite interesting indeed. I am curious though.. where is Ket Limelight now?"

(OOC: The real Ket goes by Ket Van Derveld. Tek is using the middle name as a last name. I play both. The real Ket is over at SWFans with Vega and TSO.)

Tek looked to Dara and smiled a bit. Eben though the memories he possesed were not his own, She was a sight for sore eyes. A familiar face was always nice to see.

    "I honestly haven't a clue."

Tek then gathered himself and spoke again.

"All I know is that the man you once knew, his memories are mine as well. And if You will grant me the honor, I would like to continue that friendship."

Posted by Dara Shadowtide on 01-05-2003 05:15 PM:

:: Dara smiled and nodded to him ::

"I shall look forward to renewing and continuing our friendship, Tek. Will you be continuing your training with the same master that Ket had studied with?"

Posted by Tek Limelight on 01-05-2003 05:18 PM:

"As far as my knowledge goes, Ket's last master was Ogre Mal Pannis. Rama told me rather "bluntly" that he was no longer a member of the Empire. So, i shall have to find a new master."

“Indeed that you do for many things have changed and passed into shadow.”

Entering the room in a red suit with a red hat to match the Sith Master walked forward without pause, his eyes obscured by the glasses he now wore. A smirk began to form at the side of his face as he came to a stop some distance from that of Ket.

“But what does it matter? All things change and all things die.”

Leaping up upon several steps he stopped and causally looked back over his shoulder. “You think this is the right choice?”

Posted by Tek Limelight on 01-07-2003 06:48 PM:

Tek looked to Lynch, and nodded in the positive.

"Indeed, Master Lynch...It is the only decision. If you will have me here, that is..."

Posted by Lynch on 01-08-2003 05:34 PM:

“The only choice, the last choice, the choice of chance and all things doom to those that bide it. Yes, you shall be given a chance.”

A light laughter neither one of goodness nor of kindness leaped forth from his mouth as he stood still, his eyes going wide then narrow, his mouth moving to shut than forming into a grin showing his fangs.

“It will be do if you believe yourself able to keep true or be cast down into the mud with the rabble that seeks to capture and bend the will of the Sith to their own foolish ambitions.”

Posted by Darth Phantom on 01-08-2003 05:51 PM:

:: The Dark Lord sat off to the side covered in the darkest shadows of the council room with a smug look upon his battle hardened face. A small grin slowly crept to his rose colored lips as he himself was a friend of the now returned warrior or at least the original being. The Sith Lord chuckled lightly to himself as he thought back to the deeds they had once shared.

Gracfully the Sith emerged from the shadows, but with his hood still drawn his vampiric face remained hidden from sight, though his blood red eyes shined forth brightly. The Phantom Sith slowly glided over the marble floor until he stood where his Master once did before leaping up the stairs.

With his arms crossed over his chest the Sith Lord remined quiet and unmoved except for the slight nod he gave to his Master, Lynch and to his cloned friend Tek ::

:: Dara's gaze travelled around the council room as she gave an almost imperceptible nod to those who entered after her. Her attention remained on Tek as she waited for him to indicate who he would continue his training with ::

Tek really did lose himself in the moment, as he saw Phantom appear from the shadows and he heard the words pass from Lynch's lips. Letting old memories take hold, he decided that his memories would be his base to form a new life for himself, regardless if he was a clone or not. He held all the values and opinions of the orginal, and would hold to them. Tek grinned lightly.

"Lynch, since we met the day i stepped foot into the halls of the RSO, and again here at the Empire, you of all people should know...I gain my own spoils through further glory of the Empire. What I want, and what I seek....lay here, not in my own personal machinations."

Tek then looked from Dara to Lynch to Phantom...and continued.

"I remember the days of our adventures, Phantom...the days of glory and of unbridled carnage and chaos. I would like to train side by side with you, my friend...

Tek then walked up near Lynch, and spoke with conviction.

...Lynch, if you would have me...teach me further in the ways of the dark side...I am a warrior now, but with your guidance, I shall become a great master..."

Posted by Lynch on 01-12-2003 05:44 PM:

    “A great master you say?”

Lowering his head giving off a chuckle again that did not speak ill or good in the slightest but one of some twisted amusement that was known only to that of it’s host, the crimson clad self proclaimed master of chaos froze in place save for his fingers that tapped against his side in rhythm as if he were silently judging time itself.

“Such ambitions. Such height of power and prestige. You desire all these things do you?”

Posted by Tek Limelight on 01-12-2003 10:57 PM:

"Indeed...for with it, I can bring even greater glory to the Empire than i could at my present state. Not to metnion, I would bring myself a bit of amusment...killing Jedi. After all, all work and no play makes me a very dull boy..."

Tek grinned a bit at that.

Posted by Lynch on 01-15-2003 05:42 PM:

“Boy. Boy? Who has the time to train a boy? I do not have any time to watch to waste.”

Turning towards Tek an look of anger was on the Sith Masters face bordering on rage that look as if he would snap the Sith Warriors neck in an instant with one quick single snap.

“Your amusement is not the question is it, it is what you would do and do what you were told to do, what you find amusing is not the question is it.”

"If you tell me to do something, it is done, Lynch. End of story. I will not disobey you. But do not think me foolhardy enough to do something I know I cannot."

“Ah but so you you say”

Drifting away in thought Lynch stood there thinking of something to test this one, quite the fiendish test at that should he place Tek with this challenge. Why not? It would be an interesting battle would it not be, Tek had never met one such as the one the Sith masters mind focused on imaging the scene that in brutal fashion would be played out.

“We shall put your skills to the test”

Yes a test indeed, that was a marvelous idea. Not that the fact he wished to see brutal sport had anything to do with it...

    "As you wish, Lynch."

    Tek readied himself...waiting...

Posted by Sl Enoth on 01-20-2003 05:34 PM:

*As he sat in anticipation, Tek could not help but wonder why Jedah Lynch was simply sitting there smiling, without saying anything.. What did he have planned for him? How horrible could it be? Surely not That bad, right? But... Why was he smiling like that? Tek wished he'd stop, he wished it Very much.. That dark grin etched across the visage of the vampiric Sith Master.. It was positively nerve-wrecking.. *

*Standing there, it seemed to Tek that the shadows that drenched the council room were closing in around him and growing darker and darker.. So dark they were, undoubtedly hiding terrible Terrible things that not even the Sith there were aware of. Yes, Jedah must have summoned them, the shadow creatures.. He could Feel their cold creeping up to him and touching his skin as breaths of air.. But where were they? He could see nothing of them. Did they have no physical form? How was he suppossed to deal with creatures of darkness, poised and ready to feed on his soul? Looking back up at Jedah, his face seemed pointier and more cruel even than before.. His contours were bathed in the shadow of the demons, and he looked as if he would gladly take the place of the shadow creatures in killing Tek, if they themselves did not hurry up.. Oh god..*

*To the rest of those present, nothing had changed, except Tek was visibly growing more and more nervous.. Glistening drops of sweat began to form on his growing-pale skin.. His eyes twitched from side to side as his shoulders dropped slightly.. It seemed he was trying to fight off some kind of fear, but of what, they could not tell..*

*Suddenly from directly in front of him, a terrifying creature stepped out from the blackness, it's two large blade arms spread out to either side of it's body.. Staring at the trembling man through glowing white eyes, it's mouthless visage seemed more terrible than anything the man had ever experianced.. What no-one save perhaps it's master knew, was that Tek's fear was caused by an odourless hormone-like bio-chemical it was secreting right towards the man, in a small enough dose that none other would be effected by it.. It stood there silently for a moment, listening as Tek gasped and began breathing raspily, with his mouth wide open in terror.. Suddenly however, a deep hissing voice entered the man's mind without ever being spoken aloud..*

    "... It's time to feed.."

*And with that, the creature lunged forwards, it's right arm crossing over towards his neck while bursting with a red glow from the bio-electricity that was now coursing through the blade..*

Stepping backwards the chaos sith of red sat in his obsidian chair to be witness to the unfolding events that now were set in motion. The demon creature before him, one of his latest apprentices had recently served him well in an mission on a planet flawlessly that left several dead and still missing to those that wanted to find the men that had been slain so easily, any trace of them.

For such a mission and due to his skill Lynch now bestowed upon him ascension in rank to match his performance and skill. A wicked grin stayed on Lynch’s face, such a dance of chaos and pain this would be, and that pleased him. The natural order of the Sith declared the strong survive and at all times one must be ready to be tested against their fellow comrade in arms.

Friends in such a world were a foreign world. This was a world of the saber and evil deeds where blood was shed on a daily basis.

    " Mmmmmmmm. "

:: The Dark Lords eyes shifted thier color to a much darker crimson color as he felt the unknown presence, instinctevly his right hand shot under his black cloak to the hilt of 'Death' that hung freely from his belt, though as he was about to draw he felt something else, it was a test not an ambush.

Slowly releasing the hilt the Sith Lord crossed his arms over his chest as he sank back into the Shadows and watched, a small eerie grin formed upon the Dark Lords lips as he too felt the chaos and carnage that was about to come ::
