Of Sith and Lessons of Fire (CLOSED Dara - Lynch)

Having left the council room the chaotic Sith Master walked down the hallways treading lightly as he had learned to do, although his foot steps should make a sound there was nothing but silence in the deserted hallways. There was a trip he had to make to one of his labs, to gather something he had placed within. That and he had to make sure his test subjects did not die, that pleasure belonged to him and him alone.

Stopping he sensed a presence and stopped looking back over his shoulder

:: The Sith Master rounded the corner quickly and ran with force enhanced speed to catch up with the vampyric Sith Master who was making his way down the hidden hallways which were only accessed by Council members. As he turned to face her, his green eyes almost bore into her very soul as she took a deep breath before speaking ::

"Jedah. We must talk about this. You cannot just walk out and leave everything behind that you have worked so hard for. Do you not remember that this is how the Sith of old destroyed themselves? Inner turmoil and struggle which ripped apart the old Empire.. Something I know that neither you nor I want to happen to this Empire either.

The Sith Empire needs your strength and loyalty like it always has.. only this time.. it needs you more than ever. This is the dawn of a new era for the Sith Empire.. new worlds to be discovered, new parts of the galaxy to explore.. the possibilities for spreading chaos and evil are endless. And we can only do this with such a long time member as yourself with us.."

:: Dara knew the matter of his apprentice and the other things which he brought up would need to be addressed but the future of the Empire and the sheer presence and power he brought to it was foremost on her mind at this point ::

    "Truely?"

Having stopped his walk the Sith Master known as Jedah Zaknafein Lynch had choosen to listen to her words, there was nothing to loose in that itself. The anicent Sith of old, they had destroyed themselves by fighting, by playing scenes similar to the ones that had just played out in the council room itself. This he knew, he had researched archives that told of such plights fully.

Had he not told and repeated such things to others before? The truth was he had. On times when some had fought he had said not in exactly the same words as she had just spoken but similar ones that spoke of the same happenings and same fates.

"We are becoming too complacient in what we have become. We are not striking out enough to take greater hold of the galaxy as is our birth right. We are just existing at this time, that does need to change. I have fought for the Sith cause but when there are so many here I'm sure much more can be done to better our fight. What is a warrior without something to fight for?"

Ceasing his talk at the end of his question he stopped in thoughtful pause. Her words of the old Sith that had destroyed each other rung in his mind. Was such a thing destined to happen again. Could he himself be the cause of that? The chaos resulting would be glorious. But what would be the cost to that which he had dedicated his life to?

"To which fates are we suppose to go. My soul is dark and my heart beats only to silence that of every other living creature that dares stand in the way of the Sith. The path I do tread is of darkness and bathed in the blood of the innocent. Such is an aspect of the Sith. Do you believe that many known what it is to be a Sith? Is one so important to the overal structure?"

:: Dara watched as his demeanor changed to the man she had known for what seemed to be a lifetime. His hardened expression softened a bit as he looked over at her. Jedah had been there since her arrival and had already established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the galaxy even back then. Her thoughts filled with memories of his vengeful warpaths on the battleground.

She saw the thirst for battle in his restless man's eyes.. the faint sparkle as he recalled the times of old. The wisdom he emparted in his words still lingered in the air as she took a few steps forward and once again spoke to the Sith Master ::

"Jedah.. you are important to the Sith Empire. All of our members hold a special place in the group.. everyone has a contribution to the whole structure.. but you.. you have something a little extra which most of us do not have. And that is your past history with this organization which lends to you additional insights in matters we encounter that you have already seen the outcome.

You are a Sith Elder among us.. one to be respected for your time served in TSE as well as on the battleground as you helped to make this group's presence in the galaxy speak loud and clear to all those who would stand in opposition to our dark ways. I agree that it is far too quiet now.. but perhaps it is time for the Sith Empire to spread its wings in this new galaxy.. and who better to lead us in such a mission than you.."

:: The Sith Master's words echoed of purpose and the meaning was clear ::

Focusing his eyes on a mural to his side he looked at the images depicted on their surface, of clashing men and women in a life and death struggle that symbolized but one of the many wars that Sith had engaged in untold eons past. The blood spilled on the battlegrounds that marked so much death and misery all in one single cause, a purpose that had been called many things and spoken of in different light but had always remained the same in its one basic purpose.

    To rule over them all.

Lowering his eyebrows as he ran over her words and his mind wondered over all that was, all that had been and that was to be his eyes glowed with a dark green pulse. Lynchs eyes ran back from the mural to that of Dara Shadowtide.

Her words did echo true. And to unleash a new wave of fear on the galaxy....if such a thing was done this could indeed be glorious for the Sith. A new order to prove once and for all that theirs was the ultimate way, theirs was the only way and all those that opposed them would fail and die by the score under the brutal ambition of the Sith might.

To lash out at the many worlds.....to strike.....this burned the fire of conquest within him and he grinned at the thought.

    "Perhaps...."

Destroy them. To slaughter one world one after the other. To wipe them out. All of them.

    Yes.

"Very well.....I shall heed your counsel on this, you have spoken well this night.....and I retract thus what I had said prior in the night."

    Such was to be Sith.
