*It's strange bio-mechanical body moved along in eerie silence, even denying its footsteps an audible prescence.. As it neared the center of the room, it knew the eyes of many were upon it, but did not care in the least.. Its eyes searched out the council room, pupils hidden by a strange white glow as it noted each individual's face, burning them into memory..*

*Finally, as it stopped, it crossed it's long blade arms over its chest, and a strange, almost hiss-sounding telepathic message was sent into every mind surrounding it in the room..*

--Gitane eyed the creature from the shadows. She'd never seen the like...And she'd been among many races. Her pale eyes glint as she neared the edge of the shadows, keeping her voice hushed as she stated one word.--

*Slowly, slow enough to seem as if angered by the sound, it turned it's head to face the one who had uttered the word.. One of the tendrills by it's head moved to point at her, the strange almost snake-like movement leaving her swallowing from nervousness.. Finally, to break the tension, it nodded it's head in greeting, and turned back to face the seating area of the council..*

*Looking over the list, it studied the names, remembering them.. Suddenly, it jerked it's head up towards the large green one known as Ogre Mal Pannis.. Both of the large tendrills by its head slid forward to point at him, and seemed to concentrate the telepathic message, so only Ogre would hear it..*

*Watching those around it periphally, as it continued to look forwards at the council, awaiting word on the one known as Nuriko Sha, it felt no anger, pleasure, or embarassment, at being paraded around as if a feature in a show, having it's visage cause nervous shivers, or even at being called "beautiful".. Realistically, It cared little for emotion, and whatever those around it wished to do, was of no concern to it whatsoever. So long as it was able to feed, and grow stronger, all was well...*

Looking on with a curious eye he observed the being which had come to the Empire to join. It did not look like anything he had ever seen before, possibly some entity from the outer worlds. Who knew. Not Vega, that was sure.
