    Cherry Lips: Below Zero

It had been ... too long since she had stepped within the Sith Empire's walls once more. She had left without informing anybody because of her cells' mutation, believing it would be best if the fellow members had eventually forgotten about her existence. It was that very day when DK had sent out one of his men to kill her, and her dead body was brought to his laboratory for evaluation. After several months, they had finally locked her body in a cylinder, preserving its natural state. How long she had stayed there was unknown, until one day Tempist came and brought her back. Then, another "event" had caused her memory to be erased. It had taken time for her to remember her past, and even now she couldn't remember everything.

And so, she came back to the only home she had ever known. Syren didn't dare wander into the Headquarters to see if her room was still there - it would only cause trouble with those who had never seen her before and believed the 'girl' to be trespassing. She didn't even know if she would still be considered an Apprentice anymore.

These thoughts rolled through her head as she had entered Rama's, breathing in cigarette smoke once more like in the old days. She had changed - no longer could she really feel anything except pain .. Infact, she had become Masochistic, enjoying the sweet ache it caused.

Taking a seat at the end of the bar counter, Syren ordered a glass of ice. To those who didn't know her, she looked like a simple red head with dark circles underneath her blue eyes. To those who remembered her, she was Syren Lysandor, a probably rumoured dead Disciple.

Looking down at the glass of ice, she reached in and picked up an ice cube, holding it in the palm of her hand - watching it melt.

"Home is where the heart is," she muttered. "If only I knew if I still had one."

She still remembered Athena, and how she tried to save the beautiful Knight from that twisted, ugly death that awaited. But, it couldn't be stopped .. couldn't be .. stopped ....

The ice in her hand had finally turned to water.

"Master Shadowtide, it would be an honor if you joined me."

Her voice was somewhat monotone as she looked up at Dara with empty blue eyes. Indeed, the time that passed hadn't touched a single feature on the Sith Master's face. It was still wickedly beautiful, with the knowledge edged in her eyes.

:: With a fluid motion, the Sith Master swept her cloak to the side as she took a seat across from Syren. The Disciple seemed to be a changed woman of sorts and Dara wondered where she had been for so long. In her usual direct manner, she asked what was on her mind ::

"So, tell me how you have been and what has kept you away from the Empire for so very long, Syren."

:: Her pale green eyes looked upon the woman, as if searching for non verbal answers to the question while she awaited her response ::

Sitting in the corner of the place, on the counter itself, was a woman with a large cloak over herself, the shadows covering her upper face, only her lips could be seen. A few empty bottles were sitting next to her, but she didn't seem to be drunk. She tilted her head lightly, keeping her empty brown eyes locked on Syren Lysandor. Ever since she came 'back', only Daegal Murdoch and Syren knew about it. She had been seen by a few members of the Empire, but none of them recognized her because she kept her Force signature hidden.

"...." She stook a long sip of alcohol, before turning her eyes away.

The clone made her way into Rama's for the night. She looked around and noticed her Master. Taking the few steps it took to get to the table her Master was sitting at Athena stopped and smiled. Syren... A powerful memory from her Maker.Syren was Someone she had taken in almost like a sister or apprentice. Athena was fond of the child and saw her threw some training with tips.

" Mistress Shadowtide, Syren. May I join you? "

Posted by Syren Lysandor on 10-16-2002 04:20 PM:

Syren's blue eyes stared emptily back at Dara's green eyes as she finally answered.

"I've done better, or so I think - I can't remember. It has .. been so long. I've just been .. kept away ... on a short notice."

Frowning, she looked over her shoulder and saw a hooded figure, then nodded slightly in their direction. It was Eve, she knew because of their little 'bonding', if you could call it that. Looking back towards Dara, she saw Athena and sat in silence before replying.

    "Take a seat."

:: The Sith Master was momentarily distracted by an almost familir force signature lurking in the darkness of the bar but then her attention was drawn away as she sensed the presence of the clone of Athena Lady Darknss enter the room. Turning to look upon her as she spoke, Dara levitated a chair out from the table and gestured for the Sith Knight to join them ::

    "Certainly Athena, join us."

:: Looking back upon Syren, Dara spoke quietly as she nodded ::

"Sometimes personal matters can arise unexpectedly and must be attended to immediately. Did you get everything taken care of? Or is your return here not a permanent one.."

Posted by The Lady Athena on 10-20-2002 03:23 PM:

Athena took the seat next to Syren and smiled at her dark sister. She didnt say anything as to not interupt the conversation once more.

Posted by Syren Lysandor on 10-20-2002 06:01 PM:

"I expect that my return is permanent, although I've heard that Miryan has disappeared once more ..."

Crossing her arms, Syren looked at Athena, observing her almost curiously.

Posted by Dara Shadowtide on 10-21-2002 11:46 PM:

:: Dara smiled at Athena before looking back over to Syren ::

"I believe that perhaps personal matters have kept Miryan away lately. But I have not seen him in some time myself so I really am unable to say where he is at with any certainty. It is good to hear of your return though. The loyalty of the members makes the Sith Empire a strong dark force in the galaxy."

Posted by The Lady Athena on 11-01-2002 03:37 PM:

Athena sat there still she knew nothing of Miryans reasons for leaving only that the disciple was now sorta master-less.

Posted by Syren Lysandor on 11-02-2002 10:35 PM:

"Indeed, Lady Shadowtide .. Unlike some members, when I joined I pledged my allegience, and I honor that word."

Closing her eyes, Syren drew in a raspy breath as she tried to remember the day she had arrived, which sealed her fate, but could only remember a dark figure whose voice was slurred and then herself, rising to her feet after she had been accepted.

"How fares the Empire today ?" She questioned, keeping her eyes shut.

Posted by Dara Shadowtide on 11-03-2002 02:13 AM:

:: Dara smiled at both Athena and Syren, two very loyal members of the Sith Empire ::

"The Empire appreciates your loyal service as well. We still remain the strongest dark force in the galaxy and are seeking out any who stand in our path. There are rumors of a Jedi faction nearby, however we have not received any specific coordinates yet. You know how slippery those lightsiders can be."

:: She smiled at the thought of battle once more with a Jedi, for it had been a long time ::

" I would love to go and see what all I could find Master. "
