The Beckoning of the Force
A sleek royal cruiser, the Norian, lightly touches down within the landing bay. Hissing as the vacuum seal is released, the hatch opens to descend into a walkway for the ship’s sole passenger: the Princess Journey Skylar of the planet of Noriah. She gracefully emerges from within the pristine confines of her personal spacecraft, her slender form framed in the amber glow of the ship’s lighting. Raven hair cascades down the back of her scarlet and ivory gown, complemented by a banded tiara of gold. She imperiously regards her surroundings with warm, almond shaped eyes.
Seeming to glide beneath the billowing skirts of her gown, the regal youth gracefully walks toward the grand temple that looms before her, in search of a Master to aid her in learning the ways of the alluring Force. Having grown up on Noriah, a planet that was nearly devoid of Force users, Princess Journey had never received any proper training or understanding of the mysterious talents that she possessed. An intelligent young lady, she had researched the Force and the Jedi that harnessed it in the extensive Norian archives, thus able to teach herself limited usage in healing skills, the area of the Force that seemed strongest in the Princess. Without a Master or proper training, however, she had been unable to fully understand the Force and its many aspects. Her parents, King Godric and Queen Lorelei, sent Journey away to better understand her talents in hopes that they would aid her when she eventually rose to the throne herself.
As she passes through the arced entrance of the temple, the Princess pauses to draw a deep breath. Never had she felt the warm presence of other Force users, especially so many concentrated in one place. She drinks it in, feeling alive and at peace in this sanctuary of education and learning. She implores the area with a keen gaze, sensing a being nearby. Hopefully, she diverts her attention toward the strong presence that draws near, eager to meet another that can feel the Force. “Hello?” she calls softly.

Heaven tilted her head a bit as she felt the familiar presence suddenly wave over her. Resting her slender hand over the small bulk of her belly she concentrated fully on picking out who or what had just arrived. She rounded a corner and heard the soft questioning hello and a smile suddenly danced at her lips.
"The princess!"
She breathed and narrowed her eyes a bit to make out the fuzzy form. Heaven would have to work on her strength in the force, she couldn't go on squinting like this...
"Journey?"
She questioned softly and stepped foward.

A radiant smile glows upon Journey's rosen lips. "Heaven!" the Princess greets her long-time friend, hurrying over to wrap her in a hug. "My dear friend, it has been too long. I was heartbroken when you left Noriah to advance in your Jedi training, but now I see why you did." Journey pauses, her dark eyes dancing over the elaborate structure of the temple. "The mere presence of other Force users fills my heart with a hope and strength that I never knew possible." She smiles as her gaze catches Heaven's round midsection. "You are expecting, Lady Heaven?"

Heaven merely smiled as she listened to her princess and long time friend speak of her love for the force. She knew the young princess's abilities in the force would help her be the best ruler for her people.
At the mention of her child, Heaven's smile widened and she nodded to Journey's inquirery.
"Yes M'lady, a child will be born in only a few more months."

"How wonderful! What a joyful blessing to create another life," Journey smiled. "Forgive my changing the subject, but if you can tell me, Lady Heaven, whom might I seek out to aid me in my training?"

:: Jedi Knight Tessa Rendahl entered the recruitment hall and saw the new arrival with one she had already met. Walking over with a smile and surrounded by the aura of the light side of the force, she greeted them both ::
"Greetings Heaven. It is good to see you once again."
:: She turned to the other woman and smiled as she spoke ::
"I am Jedi Knight Tessa Rendahl of the Students of the Light. May I be of some assistance?"
OOC:
Hmmm, did someone else already cover this?

"Nice to meet you, Jedi Rendahl," Journey replied formally with a warm smile. "I'm Princess Journey Skylar of the planet of Noriah. I am in search of a Jedi Master to train me in the ways of the Force; healing skills, in particular," she added as an afterthought.

"My parents sent me here in hopes that I would find a Master able to teach me the ways of the Jedi," Journey answered quietly. "It is a rare thing on Noriah that a citizen shows Force sensitivity, and therefore there is no one there to train me. The only other living Norian native that I know of that can use the Force is Heaven Epiphany."

"Ah yes. Heaven is one of our newest members. Have you had any experience with the force then?"

"Only recently. Two years ago, on my fourteeth birthday, my father recognized that I had abilities in the Force," Journey explained. "There was no one to train me on Noriah, so I researched Jedi training in the palace library. I read as much as I could find on it, but the Force is not a subject that can be mastered by one's self," the Princess concluded. "As I'm sure you already know," she added softly with a sheepish smile, her face coloring with slight embarassment. She felt a bit foolish, having stated such a fact about the Force to a woman that was already a Jedi Knight.
"Sorry, but I've never met a Jedi before," Journey continued in a tentative tone, her usual assertive composure lost to child-like awe. "How long have you... you know... been a Jedi? Did it take you long to train? Have you ever fought any Sith?" she asked eagerly, inwardly cringing at her own ineloquence.
