A Jedi Shall Know Peace(Lucas)
The Recruitment area had been rather busy as of late. Amalia had seen as much as she had greeted new recruits. It had taken a little while to assign students each to a Master, in fact it was still going on.
Amalia was only now just beginning to feel more at ease, at peace.
It had been a rahter busy week, but things had turned out alright. Pormotions had taken place, new recruits had arrived, training had begun.
The Jedi had finally arrived and would soon make their presence known to the Sith.
for now, now that all that could be done was to prepare and to train.
She just hoped, as she was sure many of the other instructors had hoped as well, that none of the students had run off because of lack of patience. Many of the students had been waiting a rather long time as many of the Jedi organized and talked over training.
Now Amalia was ready to train herself, her newest student, well not new, really, she had met him previously in a training class, Lucas.
Amalia was eager to begin his training, and she hoped he was just as eager to learn as she was to teach.
The Jedi Master patiently waited for his arrival, hoping that he was still here to teach, and that he hadn't left.

Lucas was around the recruitment area when his master was assigned and he was requested to report to her in the Training Dojo. Lucas arrived in the brightly lighten room and saw his new Master Amalia Azalin waiting his arrival. Lucas walked up to her slowly and bowed down to her,
"Master Azalin I have arrived as requested so I may be taught the ways of a Jedi."

Amalia bowed before the Jedi Padawan in greeting, smiling warmly.
"Hello, Lucas, it is good to see you again. I'm sorry for my delay in the start of your training, as I am sure you are rather eager to begin. I hope you will learn as much from me as I will of you. If at anytime, should you feel the need to ask any questions, feel free to do so. I believe one learns best by asking, as well as observing.
I'll have only but a few questions for you before we begin. It is essential that I learn of what you already know so that I do not end up teaching you of the things you already know, but instead, of the things you do not know.
What is the force to you? Have you ever experienced the force before, if so, when and how?
It's only just a few questions, after you answer, we then can begin the physical aspects of your training."

Lucas looked down upon himself, for what he had seen of the force he hated,
"The force to me so far has been hate, destruction, and death. Where I grew up the neighborhood was the worst you would ever see, the Darkside ruled our streets and murdered my best friend. But I my self have never experienced the force but want to use it as a signal of hope and peace in my old town so they may know something other than darkness."
looking back up he added,
"As for teaching what I already know it isn't likely. For all I know is close range knife combat for you never walked the streets of my town unarmed."

The Jedi Master smiled thinly, locking eyes with Lucas.
"You'd be surprised by the things you could teach me, Lucas. There are things you will teach me, you just might not see it yet. We'll see...do not doubt yourself, padawan, for I believe you have much to give, you should believe it too."
Amalia gestured toward the door.
"Come, let's take a walk within the gardens. I like to think the outside provides a warm and peaceful atmosphere."
Even as the two Jedi walked, Amalia continued to speak, teaching Lucas of what she knew.
"The force is what gives a force user his or her power, though I'd like not to think of it as power, but as energy. The force is an energy field, created by all living things. The force is what surrounds us, penetrates us, binds the galaxy together."
Amalia stopped walking, gesturing to the area around them.
"Now that you know of what the force is, you can now tap into it. The force, you must feel it before you can use it. So it is here where your first lesson shall begin. To tap into the force, the Lightside of the force, you must draw upon your own feelings, those that bring you peace, hope, happiness. Once you have these feelings you then can reach out with the force, or what is known as feeling the force. Feel the force flow, everywhere, through me, through you, the grass, the trees, the flowers, everywhere..."

Lucas followed his new master through the beautiful garden and listened to her every word as she explained to him what the first lesson shall be,
“I shall try my best”
As Lucas stood in the middle of the heart-warming garden he closed his eyes and started to think of his family, and all good he wished to bring to them. He thought of where he stood, and all the great wonders that he was surrounded by. And of the lovely women that stood next to him and the great wonders he hoped to learn from her, and then it happened. Lucas’s body and soul opened up to the outside world and he felt it flow through him, he felt it in his master, and in everything around them. He wasn’t sure of what exactly it was but it felt good to feel it him-self. Lucas opened his eyes and looked at his master,
“I can feel it, it’s barley there but I do feel it”

"Good, what you feel is the Lightside of the force. As you will learn there are two basic sides to the force, the Light and the Dark.
You already know of the light and how to seek it, To be at peace, calm, to have control, to be at harmony with the force, this is the Lightside of the force.
You can't begin to understand the force unless you know the different sides to it.
Now we discuss the Darkside. The darkside is the opposite of what the light is. The Darkside is power, to unleash the powers of the darkside one must draw upon certain emotions, negative emotions such as hate, anger, fear, aggression.
A Jedi's will and the force are said to be as one. Should a Jedi fall to the path of the darkside, forever will they be haunted by it. This is where we come to yet another lesson in learning. It is because a Jedi can easily fall to the darkside that they must have something to guide them with other than the force. A guideline if you will that shows a Jedi what they strive for. This is called the Jedi Code, do you know it?"

"Very well," she said as she shifted to her belt, removing a small datapad, she handed it to him.
"Study this when you have spare time, it is the Jedi Code."
"There is no emotion; there is peace.
There is no ignorance; there is knowledge.
There is no passion; there is serenity.
There is no death; there is the Force."
She smiled, pausing a moment to allow him to look over the material if he wished to.
"Now we're ready to begin the physical aspects of your training. We'll start with the basic of levitation. In order to do this you must draw upon the lightside of the force as I taught you to do just moments before. You must also imagine the task at hand within your mind. You will find that as you do anything, a visual aid is most helpful."
Amalia looked to the ground for a moment, a set of small rocks slowly began to rise from the place the Jedi Master looked toward.
"I want you to see these rocks rising in your mind, just as you see them now."
The rocks floated further up into the air until they reached Lucas 'eye level and then they dropped.
"Once you have this picture in your mind, reach out with the force and do just as you see in your mind."

(OCC- I know Amalia has RL stuff going on right now and she won’t be posting for sometime but I thought I should still post and let leaders decide what is going to happen with my training.
Lucas closed his eye's and brought the force to life in him once again, but instead of keeping it inside him Lucas pushed it out of his body and down at the pebbles. As the force began to reach the pebbles they started to shake, slowly and slowly they shook in tell one rose off the ground, but just barley. The sweet was dripping from Lucas’s forehead now and he had only got one pebble off the ground a couple of inches at the most. As the fatigue started to set in Lucas gave it one last push and tree of the pebbles shot up to eye level, but fell strait back to the ground and as they hit the ground Lucas was now really dizzy and could barley stand and he had done so little in his mind.
